Cozumel

Cozumel is a bigger, nicer port for sure. The whole pier is a big outdoor mall. I didn't get to spend as much time there as I would have liked, I was pretty disappointed. We did go on another excursion while we were here. It was a jeep tour. We went snorkeling at a really great beach. I was so nervous I almost backed out, but I did it! I won't ever do it again, but I did it! Then we saw some ruins and crocodiles and ate lunch at the beach. That was a long day, but really fun.

Beach bums

This was my favorite day. It was hot and sunny and there was hardly anyone on the beach because it was private to the resort. It had a couple different pools that were so cool. I wish we would have had longer here.

1st port, Progresso

This is our first port, it is small and not real touristy. We got on our tour bus right off the pier and we drove through some really poor villages and saw what people here have to live like. There were military guys on almost every block holding big guns. I was a little worried about what the place we were going to was going to be like. It ended up being this beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere. It was my favorite day!

Cruisin'

Ryan and I were very excited to go on our first cruise. We went to Progresso, and Cozumel, Mexico. It was a 5 day cruise, and we had a really great time. Linda was nice enough to come down and take care of the kids. She did awesome finding her way around and getting the kids everywhere they needed to be. We really appreciate her doing that for us! When we were cruising to our ports it got really windy on the ship, in fact I froze the whole time on the ship, and couldn't wait to get to the warm beach.

Aidyn's first Gymnastics meet

Aidyn did a great job at her gymnastics meet. She was pretty nervous, but she did it and we are so proud! She got one first place ribbon for her floor routine, two second place ribbons for bars and vault, and a third place ribbon for her beam routine. These are some pictures of her warming up and some with her team mates and her coach Miss Anne. And of course some of her posing for the camera.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was fun. There was a trunk or treat at the church, and then we also went trick or treating around the neighborhood. Kennedy was a punk/funky fairy, Mason was commander Cody from Star Wars the Clone Wars animated version ( he made me put the whole title), and Aidyn was a witch.

San Antonio Temple

Ryan and I got to go to the Temple with his mom and dad while they were here. We went to lunch afterwards and just had a really nice day. We all were so happy they were able to come out to see us. Everyone was a little sad when they left, especially Aidyn who cried for a while after they left.
